I’ve been a hairstylist for over 40 years, and during that time, I’ve developed a true passion for precision short haircut styling. My journey began right out of beauty school at The Harem in Springfield, where I had the privilege of working alongside two of the best hairdressers in the city. They taught me techniques and skills that became the foundation of my career.

A few years later, I joined Rick Quissenbery at Hair Technique, where I spent five years refining my craft and embracing the artistry of hairstyling. Over the years, I’ve been honored to win several first-place awards in hair styling competitions and have served on Missouri’s teaching staff, even working as a State Board Examiner to help shape the next generation of cosmetologists.

For the past 32 years, I’ve proudly called Details Salon my professional home, working alongside my longtime friend Jan Pearle, who I attended beauty school with. Although I could retire, I choose to keep working because I truly love what I do. Helping clients feel confident, beautiful, and cared for every time they sit in my chair brings me great joy!
